Introduction

The 2024 Suzume No Gakko session will be held July 15-26th. Registration will be open from February 28th, 2024 until March 10th 2024. To register, complete the online registration form found here.

Pre-Enrollment and Pre-Registration

Pre-Enrollment into the program is reserved for children of the Executive Board of Directors and children of the Teaching Staff. They may skip the Lottery process.

Pre-Registration into the program is reserved for students who have attended Suzume no Gakko at least four years previously. They may also skip the Lottery process.

For both Pre-Enrollment and Pre-Registration, registrations and full payment must be submitted by March 6, 2024. See payment instructions below. Payments submitted or postmarked after this date will roll your registration into the 1st Lottery.

1st Lottery—Returning students

The 1st Lottery is for those families with returning students from last year and their siblings entering 1st grade, or siblings of former Suzume no Gakko students entering 1st grade. Siblings in grades 2–6 who did not attend last year must apply to the 2nd Lottery.

Families must be in good standing to participate in 1st Lottery registration. 1st Lottery Registration will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on March 10, 2024. Forms received after this date will automatically be entered in the 2nd Lottery. 1st Lottery will be held on March 12, 2024.

Families will be notified no later than March 15, 2024, as to whether or not they have been accepted into the program.  If accepted, tuition payment is due upon notification, and must be submitted through Zelle (preferred) or postmarked by March 22, 2024. See payment instructions below.

Five (5) spots per class are held for 2nd Lottery registrations. Students who do not make 1st Lottery will be automatically entered into the 2nd Lottery (no additional action is required).

2nd Lottery—Returning and new students

The 2nd Lottery is for new students and former students who were not enrolled in the previous session. A minimum of five (5) spots per class are held open for 2nd Lottery registrations in order to provide all interested families and students an opportunity to participate.

2nd Lottery will be held on March 12, 2024.

Families will be notified no later than March 15, 2024, as to whether or not they have been accepted into the program. If accepted, tuition payment is due upon notification, and must be submitted through Zelle (preferred) or postmarked by March 22, 2024.
